Jug X, Y and Z each contained some water.

Maggie transferred `1/4` of the water from jug X into jug Y, then poured `1/4` of the water from jug Y into jug Z, and finally transferred `1/4` of the water from jug Z to jug X.

Now, there are 9 litres of water in each jug.

Find the amount of water in each jug at first.
