With copious amounts of household income being spent on tuition each year, the results on many students seem a mixed bag. Why is it that some students grasp math concepts so easily while some effortlessly solve tedious, higher order questions? There are even some students who never seem to get a breakthrough in their math results regardless of the amount of tuition that is given to them?
Then there are students who seem to score between 75 to 80 and some who score between 80 to 85 marks but never seem to be able to make those strides in improvements that will put them ahead of the average in class or help them get the A star in PSLE Mathematics.
We try to answer these questions and more in our new book, “How your child can be a great mathematician”.
